‘The steeply undulating Mittagong Range lies East of Sheepwash Road in the Southern Highlands.

The human response to the natural manifestation of its physical landform, high rainfall and basalt (volcanic) soils has created a place for achievement and comfort for those who see, hear, feel and seek such things.

Kirsty, who is born and bred in the Northern Beaches, has the artistic skill and perception to create reminders of this place with the clarity and freshness of an empathetic outsider.  

Her paintings in this collection will give viewers glimpses of those human responses and a recurring sense of this place.’
